Douro Vineyards hiking

It is a walk that allows us to observe the Douro valley in all its splendor. On this route, we can see several historical fifths of the Douro - Gricha, Roriz, São José, Tecedeiras and Pessegueiro, with their vineyards, olive groves and almond trees. We will pass through the vineyards but also by ancestral terraces, with its old olive and orange trees.

In the middle of our route, we will have a picnic by the river Douro, with local products. We will have at our table the Douro and Porto wine.

On the way back to Ervedosa, we expect a demanding walk up but also with stunning images that make this program one day not to forget.

Itinerary

It is a walk of 17, 2 km, which takes place in 5 hours to walk. However, with the picnic stop, for photos and commentary on local culture and ways of life, it is an activity of 7 to 8 hours.
