The Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória (better known as the Monastery of Batalha) is a monastery located in the town of Batalha, in the region of the Center, in the province of Beira Litoral, Portugal, which was built in 1386 by King João I of Portugal [2] in gratitude to the Virgin Mary for the victory against the Castilian rivals in the battle of Aljubarrota. Nazaré is a Portuguese village, in the district of Leiria, home to the homonymous municipality with about 10 300 inhabitants. Located in the province of Extremadura integrating the Intermunicipal Community of the West in the region of the Center.
