From Porto Amazing Douro with Lunch Included

After arriving to one of the most important villages regarding the production of Port wines we will introduce you to the region and do a small stop to appreciate the landscape.

At the first wine producer we will take a guided tour through the property and at the end you will have the opportunity to taste different styles of the famous Port wine.

From arrival to “Pinhão” village, known for its famous train station with its beautiful tiles depicting Douro landscapes, classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, we will take a small boat ride on a traditional boat along the Douro river to relax (Optional 10€/pax)

We will make a stop for lunch, to taste a traditional menu from Portugal. Here you will be able to restore all the energy you’ll need to continue our journey.

After lunch we will visit a family winery, also a wine producer, accompanied by a specialized guide, where you will taste DOC wines from Douro to have contact with this production also recognized for its quality.

08:00 – Departure from the Hotel in Porto

Our guide will wait outside your accommodation to start this unforgettable journey through the countryside of Portugal.

09:30 – Arrival to Peso da Régua

After arriving to one of the most important villages regarding the production of Port wines we will introduce you to the region and do a small stop to appreciate the landscape. Next we will drive by the “National 222”, the road that was considered one of the most beautiful in the world.

10:30 – Visit to local Port wine producer

At the first wine producer we will take a guided tour through the property and at the end you will have the opportunity to taste different styles of the famous Port wine.

12:00 – Boat tour on the Douro river (Optional 10€/pax)

13:30 – Lunch & DOC Wine Tastings

We will make a stop for lunch, to taste a traditional menu from Portugal. Here you will be able to restore all the energy you’ll need to continue our journey.

16:30 – Return to Porto

By the end of the day, we will make the return trip to Porto with an approximate time of 1 hour and 30 minutes to contemplate the landscape and rest a little after such an interesting and enriching day.

18:00 – Arrival to Porto
