Discover the Portuguese countryside’s wild and rugged beauty on this full-day canyoning adventure. From Porto, small groups will be ferried an hour and a half outside of the city and into nature. Learn the basic techniques of canyoning, practice your climbs, play in waterfalls and lagoons, and otherwise drink in the idyllic environment. No prior canyoning experience is necessary to join in the fun.

Embark on a memorable, 7-hour canyoning expedition with this small-group excursion from Porto. After being picked up directly at your Porto or Aveiro accommodation at 9am, you’ll enjoy a leisurely 1.5-hour drive into the beautiful Portuguese countryside.

Once you arrive, your canyoning adventure will begin with a safety briefing and equipment demonstration. Once you’ve been introduced to the basics of canyoning, you’ll strap in, abseil, and otherwise enjoy the scenery. Take a break and swim in the area’s crystal-clear lagoons, play in waterfalls and natural slides, and spot local wildlife, including river otters.

Halfway through the day, pause for a restorative lunch break before another round of canyoning adventures, including a challenging surprise for especially brave participants.

After a full day out, you’ll be driven back to Porto or Aveiro and dropped off directly at your accommodation. All equipment, insurance, and transportation is included, and participants of all skill levels are very welcome to take part.
