Complete relation! An easy and charming walk with beautiful and breathtaking views. This is a walk filled with several flora and fauna endemic species where you can see the famous "Poios Madeirenses" agricultural terraces along the walk an enjoy the famous and beautiful Laurissilva Forest (which is a world heritage by UNESCO since 1999).

The Levada dos Prazeres begins in Calheta, on the South coast of Madeira Island.

It is an easy path, where you can find good weather for almost 365 days a year.

This walk is developed in the middle of two forests: The Exotic Forest composed of introduced trees and plants, such as the pine trees and acácias; and part of the Laurissilva Forest, an endemic forest, composed of plants and tree that can only be seen on Madeira Island.

The Laurissilva Forest is a world heritage site by UNESCO since 1999 and is also one of the seven wonders of Portugal.

This walk is very relaxing along the Levada and has the duration of approximately two hours.
