Stop At: Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana, Sao Miguel 9625-304 Portugal

Departure from the hotel at 9:00 am towards the north coast of the island. Arriving at the Gorreana Tea Factory, the walk begins along the Gorreana trail along the tea plantations. This circular tour, with a length of 3.4km, descends through the plantations to the tea factory where the route ends. After the tour, there is a guided tour of the Fábrica, the only one of its kind in Europe, where you will learn more about the island's tea culture through the different processes involved in its production and where, at the end of the visit, the opportunity to taste a cup of tea accompanied by traditional biscuits

Stop At: Miradouro de Santa Iria, Porto Formoso, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel Portugal

Return to Ponta Delgada at 1:00 p.m., stopping at the viewpoint of Santa Iria where you can enjoy the exuberant view on the green slopes that fall on the sea. Return to the hotel.
