Embark on this 11km (7mi) hike with your small group of no more than 6 through São Miguel. See Sete Cidades Lake and learn of the fauna, flora, and volcanic formation of the island with your experienced guide over the course of 7 hours. The guide will also treat you to the legendary love story behind the creation of the lake.

Itinerary

After the pick up at 9 am, we will head to the famous Sete Cidades, which is part of Portugal’s seven wonders. Sete Cidades lake is one of the most famous and legendary lakes of the island. During the 11km (7 miles) long hike, you will have the opportunity to learn about the fauna, flora, history, volcanic formation of the island, and of course, you will hear the legendary love story behind the formation of the lake.
