The first part of the course is composed of a mixture of endemic vegetation and vegetation introduced after the discovery of the Island. Here several perspectives of the village and of the village appear in the distance.

Stop At: Levada Do Rei, Sao Jorge, Madeira Portugal

He was born in the late 19th century to irrigate the fields of São Jorge and feed the existing water mills and sawdust. It is an easy walk, with a wide and accessible esplanade. Along the way we observe the transition from a forest of invasive alien species, to the indigenous forest of Madeira: the Laurissilva (World Heritage since 1992 - UNESCO).
