At the heart of the island is the most natural of all crater lakes, the Lagoa do Fogo (lake of fire). Located in a nature reserve, you will find a wonderful peace and fantastic views in all directions. We also visit Caldeira Velha, a warm waterfall with swimming (all year around 25 ° - 39 ° degrees). The tour continues to Ribeira Grande, the city on the north coast. A walk past the historic sights completes the excursion.
