Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfers

Stop At: Port and Douro Wines Institute, Rua Sao Pedro de Alcantara 45, Lisbon 1250-237 Portugal
Transfer from Lisbon Airport to your 4* Hotel located in central Lisbon. Spend the rest of your day at leisure

Day 2: Market Tour with Cooking Class | Afternoon - Sunset Cruise

Stop At: Takashi Amano Forests Underwatter at Oceanarium Lisbon, Doca Dos Olivais Parque das Nacoes, Lisbon Portugal
On the morning of Day 2 we kick this culinary experience off with a market tour, visiting a typical Portuguese market, meeting different colourful characters and learning about Portuguese produce. After the tour, we return to a cooking class where we will prepare a meal guided by a chef. Later In the evening around 19:00 - head down to the docs in the area of Belem where you will embark on a 2-hour Sunset River Cruise on the Tagus river. Enjoy a different perspective of the city as you cruise all along the Lisbon waterfront with spectacular views over Lisboa!

Day 3: Sightseeing & Gourmet Portuguese Cooking Class / Dinner

Pass By: Port and Douro Wines Institute, Rua Sao Pedro de Alcantara 45, Lisbon 1250-237 Portugal
Day 3 will kick off with your own leisure time - explore the city of Lisbon on a city sightseeing bus tour. A 24-Hour pass is included allowing you to hop on and hop off the bus anytime over 2 days. Then in the evening from 18:30 enjoy a Gourmet Portuguese Cooking Class & Dinner. A Chef will use fresh ingredients to share and prepare a dream meal, totally hands-on. Based on local ingredients of the season, our chef will teach you in a very relaxed environment the best of the Portuguese traditional cuisine with a modern look and touch. Especially relevant is the fact of while cooking, you will be able to taste some of the best Portuguese Olive Oil and other local products. And finally, eat and enjoy the meal you've just cooked and plated!

Day 4: Lisbon Market Food & Culture Walk | Fado Show & Dinner

Stop At: Port and Douro Wines Institute, Rua Sao Pedro de Alcantara 45, Lisbon 1250-237 Portugal
This morning we will start at 10:30 with a 3-hour Lisbon Market Food & Culture Tour. You will visit one of Lisbon's neighbourhoods considered a hidden foodie gem! Visit a food market and taste enjoy 7 tasting stops to sample 10 tastings of different food & drinks that are typical Portuguese. In the evening enjoy the melancholic and traditional sounds of Portuguese Fado music (folk song) whilst enjoy a 3-course dinner. Day 5: Tuk Tuk city tour, Pasteis de Nata workshop & Wine Tasting

Stop At: Tuk Tuk Porto, R. do Gen. Torres 700, 4430-107 Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal
This morning will start at 09:30 with a 1h30 Tuk Tuk city sightseeing tour through the oldest neighbourhood / part of Lisbon.Luwak Coffee Tour. Along the way you will stop off at one of Lisbon's most beautiful viewpoints (Miradouros) and sample a well-known cherry liqueur (Ginjinha). Then in the afternoon, enjoy a wine & tapas tasting experience. You will get to taste 3 premium Portuguese wines and also enjoy a selection of tapas to share.

Day 6: A day trip to Cascais | Cascais Food walking tour

Stop At: Cascais Fish Market, Cascais Portugal
Today, why not venture out of the city and enjoy the beautiful Portuguese Riviera. Your package includes a return train ticket to Cascais, only an hour outside of Lisbon. You will then get to partake in a 3-hour Cascais foodie walking tour, sampling at least 5 different savoury or sweet foods. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure

Day 7: Day at Leisure & Dinner and Fado Show

Stop At: Sintra Local Market, Largo D. Fernando II Sao Pedro de Sintra, Sintra Portugal
Today, spend the day at leisure and enjoy more of this beautiful region. Why not take a day trip to Sintra or Obidos or simply explore more of Lisbon at your own pace. In the evening of Day 4 - enjoy a fabulous fine dining experience. Visiting one of Lisbon's Michelin star restaurants, you will get to experience a meal like no other. An 18-course meal together with a wine pairing awaits you at this 1* Michelin star restaurant. The restaurant is organic, values the national products and nature, and lives at the mercy of micro seasons. Produce is carefully selected every day and the menu planned accordingly. Ever changing. This is bound to be one of the highlights of your trip!

Day 8: Day at leisure | Day of departure

Spend your morning at leisure. End of tour - In the evening you will be transferred from your hotel back to the airport to catch your departing flight back to South Africa.
