You should try this tourist scavenger hunt to visit Lisbon!
It will take you from Praça do Comércio to Rossio Square, through Carmo Convent and Praça do Restauradores. You will have to complete challenges at every step. Each will indicate your next destination along with a bit of local history and trivia.
It takes 2-3 hours to complete, do it whenever you wish - you select your own date and start time, no scheduling or reservation needed. 20+ challenges, games and enigmas to solve as you walk through this historic neighborhood.

Stop At: Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco), Avenida Infante Dom Henrique 1C, Lisbon 1100-053 Portugal

This is the historical Gateway to Lisbon and Portugal. Learn a little history of the country, which King had a palace here before the 1755 earthquake, and which King was assassinated here. Your first challenge is faily simply - only require some observation.

Stop At: Museu de Lisboa - Torreão Poente, Praça do Comércio MB, 1100-083 Lisboa, Portugal

Learn more history of the country and the city, and more specifically about the 1755 earthquake which affected not only the county and its citizens, but the architecture itself as you'll see throughout this hunt.
Your challenge here requires understanding how a map works.

Stop At: Arco da Rua Augusta, R. Augusta 2, 1100-053 Lisboa, Portugal

We explain the significance of the persons represented on this monument.
The challenge here will see you squint, or zoom your camera, to get the proper count of an item.

Stop At: Municipal Square, Santa Maria Maior, Lisbon Portugal

See Praça do Municipio and city Hall. Learn a little history and solve a math problem based on architectural elements on the building's facade.

See Lisbon's design and fashion museum, which resides in an old bank building.
The challenge here relates to one of the beautiful carvings beside the entrance.

Stop At: Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Vitoria, Rua da Vitoria 104 Centro, Lisbon 1100-619 Portugal

Walk on rua do Augusta, see the shops and restaurants and stop at the Our Lady of Victory Church for your next challenge.

Stop At: Elevador de Santa Justa, Rua do Ouro, Lisbon 150-060 Portugal

This cast iron lift was built to connect the lower town here, to the upper town at Praça do Carmo.
The challenge here is simple, but your next decision is not. Whether to take the lift up, or walk up to your next destination.

Stop At: Carmo Archaeological Museum, Largo do Carmo, 1200-092, Lisbon 1200-092 Portugal

Learn about this old convent, destroyed in the 1755 earthquake and never rebuilt. Learn about the Carmelites who lived here.
Your challenge takes you to the fountain out front.

This is a local history museum. It’s the building with painted sculptures on the facade.

Stop At: Teatro da Trindade / Inatel, R. Nova da Trindade 9, 1200-301 Lisboa, Portugal

Your challenge here is to discover who the Peruvian architect for this theatre was.

Stop At: Church of Sao Roque, Largo Trindade Coelho, 1200-470 Lisboa, Portugal

This was the Jesuit's central church in Portugal for 200 years before they were expelled from the country. Learn more about them and the beautiful art within.

Stop At: Miradouro Sao Pedro de Alcantara, Rua de Sao Pedro de Alcantara Bairro Alto, Lisbon 1250-237 Portugal

This long terrasse on 2 levels offers a grand view of Sao Jorge Castle and the city below.
Your challenge is date-related, with one of the monuments in this park.

Walk down the long staircase, or take the funicular.

Stop At: Praca dos Restauradores, Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon 1250-188 Portugal

This grand public square is the southern end of Liberdade avenue. This place’s name, Restauradores, translates to restorators and honors the movement which led to the independence of Portugal in 1640, after 80 years of Spanish rule. The restoration of the kingdom of Portugal.
Your challenge here is to decode a cipher on the central column.

Stop At: National Museum of Sport, 112, Praça dos Restauradores 25, 1250-147 Lisboa, Portugal

The National Sports Museum is on the west side of the square, the one you came from. It is a # 112 in the pinkish/reddish building. This museum opened in 2012 to commemorate 100 years of participating in the Olympic Games.

Stop At: Rossio Square, Praca Dom Pedro IV, Lisbon 1100-026 Portugal

This large square dates back to the middle ages and remains an important site for public manifestations.
Rossio is Portuguese for common or public. At the center, you’ll find a large statue of King Pedro IV.
The challenge here relates to the central statue.

Stop At: Teatro Nacional Dona Maria II Praca Dom Pedro IV, Lisbon 1100-201 Portugal

This theatre honors Pedro’s eldest daughter and Queen of Portugal. It presents all sorts of theatrical arts, including dance.
The original building from 1450, was called Estaus Palace. It housed visiting foreign dignitaries. When the Inquisition (1536-1821) came to Lisbon, this palace became its seat and Rossio the site of many executions.

Figueira Square is another large public square, circled by restaurants, shops, and hotels. Learn about the history of the square and its central statue.
