The personalities of Luís de Camões, Pedro Álvares Cabral, Afonso de Albuquerque, Nuno Álvares Pereira, Vasco da Gama and Infante D. Henrique are also mentioned in the National Pantheon through cenotaphs, even though their bodies are not present there.
