A full day tour to 3 wineries which will make you will feel like an expert after such a complete trip to one of the most amazing wine regions in the world, the Douro Valley. You will be amazed by this incredible and historical place where port wine is produced.

Your guide will wait outside your accommodation to start this unforgettable journey through the countryside of Portugal. After arriving to one of the most important villages regarding the production of port wines, you will be introduced to the region and do a small stop to appreciate the landscape. Next you will drive by the “National 222”, a road that is widely considered one of the most beautiful in the world.

At the first wine producer you will take a guided tour through the property, and at the end you will have the opportunity to taste two different styles of table DOC wines. Afterwards you will travel to “Pinhão” village, known for its famous train station with its beautiful tiles depicting Douro landscapes and classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Here you will do a stop to enjoy both the village and the citizens. You will then make a stop for lunch to taste a traditional Portuguese menu involving matching food with fabulous DOC wines. Here you will be able to restore all the energy you’ll need to continue your journey.

After lunch, you will taste Port wines from Douro accompanied by a specialized guide. Before returning to Porto you will finally visit a specialized producer of Port wines by taking a guided tour through their magnificent estate while tasting their fabulous wines. At the end of the day, you will make the 1.5-hour return trip to Porto, allowing plenty of time of to contemplate the landscape and rest a little after such an interesting and enriching day.
