Eduardo VII Park is the largest park in central Lisbon. This park was baptized in 1903 in honor of Edward VII of England, who had visited Lisbon the previous year to reaffirm the alliance between the two countries.

Marquês de Pombal Square is an important square in the city of Lisbon. It is located between Avenida da Liberdade and Parque Eduardo VII. In the center stands the monument to Marquis of Pombal, inaugurated in 1934.

Avenida da Liberdade is one of the main avenues of the city of Lisbon, which connects Restauradores Square with Marquês de Pombal Square. About 90 m wide and 1100 m long, it has several lanes and wide sidewalks decorated with gardens and Portuguese typical pavement.

D. Pedro IV Square, better known as Rossio, is a square in downtown Lisbon, has been one of the most important squares of the city. In the Roman period there was a hippodrome.

The downtown of Lisbon, also called Baixa Pombalina or Lisbon Pombalina for being built by order of the Marquês de Pombal, following the 1755 earthquake, covering an area of about 255 hectares.

The Lisbon Cathedral was built at the beginning of the second half of the twelfth century, after D. Afonso Henriques reconquered the city from the Moors. It has been classified as a National Monument since 1910.

Stop At: Castelo de S. Jorge, Rua de Santa Cruz do Castelo, Lisbon 1100-129 Portugal

The first fortresses of the castle date from the 1st century BC, having been rebuilt several times by various peoples and given different names. The current name derives from the devotion of the castle to Saint George, patron saint of knights and crusades, made by order of D. João I in the fourteenth century.

The viewpoint develops in front of the Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Monte. From there you can see, to the south, the São Jorge Castle, part of Lisbon downtown and the Tagus estuary, from the west, from Bairro Alto to Monsanto Forest Park and, to the north, the Avenida Almirant Reis.

The Church of Santa Engrácia is a 17th-century monument. Originally a church, in the 20th century it was converted into the National Pantheon, in which important Portuguese personalities are buried.

Pass By: Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco), Avenida Infante Dom Henrique 1C, Lisbon 1100-053 Portugal

Situated near the Tagus river, the square is still commonly known as Terreiro do Paço, because it was the location of the Royal Ribeira Palace until it was destroyed by the great 1755 Lisbon earthquake. After the earthquake, the square was completely remodeled as part of the rebuilding of the Pombaline Downtown.

Stop At: Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, Praca do Imperio Belém, Lisbon 1400-206 Portugal

Is a former monastery of the Order of Saint Jerome near the Tagus river in the parish of Belém. It was secularised on 28 December 1833 by state decree and its ownership transferred to the charitable institution, Real Casa Pia de Lisboa.
The monastery is one of the most prominent examples of the Portuguese Late Gothic Manueline style of architecture in Lisbon. It was classified a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the nearby Tower of Belém, in 1983.

Belém Tower is a 16th-century fortification located in Lisbon that served both as a fortress and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon. It was built during the height of the Portuguese Renaissance, and is a prominent example of the Portuguese Manueline style, but it also incorporates hints of other architectural styles. The structure was built from lioz limestone and is composed of a bastion and a 30-metre, four-storey tower.

Monument of the Discoveries is a monument on the northern bank of the Tagus River estuary, in the civil parish of Santa Maria de Belém, Lisbon. Located along the river where ships departed to explore and trade with India and the Orient, the monument celebrates the Portuguese Age of Discovery (or Age of Exploration) during the 15th and 16th centuries.
