Private Off Road Driving Experience Cabo Girão and Vineyards HalfDay

Test your off-road driving skills behind the wheel of a cool & classic Fiat Panda 4x4 in our 4h Private Safari Tour. Off-Roading is really fun & easy with the help of our guide.

On our you'll be able to not only drive off-road but also experience a lot of sightseeing in Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girão, Boca da Corrida & Boca dos Namorados. 

We'll end with a Poncha (local beverage) taste at the end for the full local experience

• Visit Câmara de Lobos from the sea until the highest mountains.
• Drive Off-Road in a vineyard e trough one obstacle course.
• We'll teach you the basics of off-road driving. You'll try it for yourself. (optional)
• We'll stop for a Poncha tasting in a local bar. 
• We'll see a Levada and can even go for a light walk if you want to

After we pick you up, we go straight to Câmara de Lobos, to a nice viewpoint of the fisherman village. Here we can see the place where Winston Churchill went to paint during the time he lived in Madeira.

Afterwards we'll slowly climb towards Cabo Girão, Europe's highest sea cliff, where we'll be presented with a stunning view over the Atlantic Ocean and Funchal.

After this we'll start our off-road adventure, after a small security briefing. We'll explain to you the basics of Off-Road Driving and then you'd jump to the driver's seat. We'll pass at the vineyards and go towards Boca da Corrida. In the vineyards you’ll pass trough a more challenging course where everyone can test their off-road driving abilities. It's always really fun, winter or summer you will have a really great time here.

After driving in a Levada we´re going to stop at Boca da Corrida where we're can admire the true view from the mountains.

Now it's time for a Poncha tasting (Local alcoholic beverage made with sugar cane rum) in a real local bar. (You have to taste it for yourself, we won't give you more hints...) 

After this injection of "courage" still off roading we'll be heading towards Boca dos Namorados for the last stop to admire Curral das Freiras before heading back to the city.

Last but not least we’ll go back to Funchal trough the old roads, where you can see all the vineyards from whom the Madeira Wine is produced that are traditional of Câmara de Lobos.
