This private Oporto city tour will allow you to experience the history and immense charm of the city. We’ll visit the highlights of the city, including the riverside area and the world known Port’s wine cellars. Included in this day tour is also a boat trip where we can enjoy a unique view of the city from the Douro’s River.

Our guide/driver will pick you at your hotel in Oporto or other agreed meeting point at the city.

According your interests we can start the tour crossing the spectacular Dom Luís metal bridge, inaugurated in 1886. Already in Vila Nova de Gaia on the southern bank of the Douro’s river you’ll get to know one Port’s Wine Cellar. Here you’ll have the opportunity to taste this extraordinary wine. Before turning to cross the Douro’s river to continue the visit through the historic centre, you will enjoy a 50-minute cruise in a typical ‘Rabelo’ boat, a highlight of this unforgettable tour. The tour continues towards the São Francisco church known for ‘Golden Cave’ – ‘caverna do Ouro’, since it has suffered a baroque remodeling where several amazing gilded carvings was used. (Entrance fee is not included) During the rest of the day, according your interests, our guide/driver will show you the highlights of the city such as the Church and Tower of the Clerics, the Avenue of the Allies – ‘Avenida dos Aliados’, the São Bento train station, the Oporto Cathedral, the Bolhão market, Foz do Douro, and many more amazing places of Oporto city. Other tourist highlights that you should suggest to the clients are the commercial area of Santa Catarina and the Lello & Brother’s bookstore, that will surprise you by the set of stairs with its mysterious look! 

After this amazing day you we’ll travel back to Lisbon to the agreed drop-off point.
