The Chapel of Bones is a small internal chapel located near the church of Saint-François. It is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Chapel of Bones was built in the seventeenth century on the initiative of three Franciscan friars whose purpose was to convey the message of the transience and fragility of human life.
