This is our most impactful program, Reforestation. Our proposal is that, in addition to a walk inside the magnificent flora and fauna of the Laurissilva forest (UNESCO World Heritage), where you can contemplate the unique beauty of tree ferns (Cyathea sp and dicksonia sp), join our reforestation program. of indigenous vegetation in the mountains of Madeira Island. Join in and feel like a true “Guardian” of the Laurissilva Forest (primeval forest that resists five centuries of humanization).

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Vereda das Funduras (PR5), ER102, 9225, Portugal

Departure from Funchal towards Caniçal passing through Machico.
Then we go to the Funduras (OFF-ROAD), Portela, Santo Serra (REFOREST), Funchal.
On JEEP tours, customers have at their disposal four (4) options, two east and two west of the island. And these programs include our most impactful program, Reflorestação, where we invite customers to visit our nursery of endemic / indigenous plants, choose the plant they want to associate with their name, and if the visit occurs at the time. reforestation, be responsible for their planting. Also in this program, customers, at the time of sowing, have the possibility to go to the field to collect the seeds and actively participate in their reproduction.
