Pousada Castelo Palmela - Within the walled area of the castle of Palmela, donated by D. Sancho I in the 12th century to the Military Order of Santiago, great works were already carried out as early as the 15th century, particularly in the western sector, where a church was built and the convent of Santiago where the headquarters of the Order would be installed. Later, at the end of the seventeenth century, a new convent is built. Set classified as a national monument in 1910.
Quinta da Bacalhoa - Considered to be the most beautiful farmhouse of the first half of the fifteenth century still existing in Portugal, Quinta da Bacalhôa is an old property of the Portuguese Royal House. Located in Azeitão, the Quinta and the famous Bacalhôa Palace constitute an artistic monument of the greatest relevance to the country.

Cristo Rei National Sanctuary is located at an altitude of 113 meters above the level of the Tagus. It consists of a portico designed by the architect Antonio Lino, 75 meters high, topped by the statue of the Holy Redeemer with open arms facing the city of Lisbon, 28 meters high, by the Portuguese sculptor Francisco Franco de Sousa. The pedestal, including the portico, rises to 82 meters in height. The sanctuary and monument to Christ the King is the biggest tourist attraction of the county of Almada.
This monument is the best viewpoint overlooking the city of Lisbon, offering a wide view over the capital and the 25 de Abril Bridge. In numerous tourist reports on Lisbon the sanctuary and monument to Christ the King, ex-libbris of Almada appears.
It is one of the tallest buildings in Portugal, with 110 meters of height.

The vineyard has 14ha and was planted in 1972. At the request of Thomas Scoville, then proprietor of Quinta da Bacalhôa, António Avillez installed a vineyard here to produce a wine with a vineyard similar to that used in Bordeaux, namely in the Médoc.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot are the red varieties produced here.
The vineyard planted at Quinta da Bacalhôa finds the ideal terroir for the production of excellent wines: well drained clay-limestone soils and mild climate due to the strong Atlantic influence.
Here, in exceptional years, the Bacalhôa Palace wine is produced.
