Starting with pickup from your centrally located Funchal hotel, in an air-conditioned vehicle driven by your guide, you will get a chance to see some of the highlights of the Madeira Island. On this 4-hour tour, you'll visit Pico dos Barcelos, Eira do Serrado, and Monte, just to name a few. Your group of, at most, eight people will also get a chance to try a traditional chestnut cake and the Ginja liqueur.

Just outside Funchal town, you can see the Pico dos Barcelos, which goes from the sea to the mountain across the entire Funchal Amphitheatre. Then you go up to the height of 1.095 kilometres on the Eira do Serrado where one can see the village of Curral das Freiras. Here you can taste the traditional chestnut cake and drink the sweet Ginja (sour cherry liqueur). Again back in Funchal, you climb up to Monte, an obligatory stopping point where we can visit the beautiful church and seek some thrills on the toboggans to the delight of everyone, young and old.
