During this tour you will have the opportunity to see Tomar through its extraordinary windows that spread across the city and help to tell the town’s history. Starting in Estaus and in what is considered the oldest window of the city, we will sight the tercentenary Ceilings’ House and the Tourism Post House both with delicious architecture and windows, highlights for the guillotine windows we will knit the old streets of downtown Tomar, always with our chins up so we don’t miss anything. As the guillotine chopped necks off, so do these windows take your breath away.

Stop At: Tomar, Tomar, Santarem District, Central Portugal

During this tour you will have the opportunity to see Tomar through its extraordinary windows that spread across the city and help to tell the town’s history. Starting in Estaus and in what is considered the oldest window of the city, which dates back to the 15th century, we will sight the tercentenary Ceilings’ House and the Tourism Post House both with delicious architecture and windows, highlights for the guillotine windows and the corner window, respectively. Marching to the Travessa do Arco e the former residence of Calça Perra family, we will knit the old streets of downtown Tomar, always with our chins up so we don’t miss anything. As the guillotine chopped necks off, so do these windows take your breath away. Passing by the Main Square and the main street we will still have time to admire the corner window of Vieira Guimarães House and the former Chapel in Camrão street.
