Stop At: Caldeira Velha Environmental Interpretation Centre, Estrada Regional da Lagoa do Fogo, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel 9600-501 Portugal
Ex-libris from Lagoa do Fogo, no tour would be complete without this visit. A park that reminds us of a rainforest has as the highest exponent the known waterfall of hot water. In the Interpretation Center, collect information about fauna and flora.

Our tour includes admission to the park, but not the ticket for bathing, and this is the perfect occasion to enjoy an optional thermal bath.

The natural "cuisine" of the Azores, here the locals cook the famous "stew" in holes made in the volcanic soil. Watch as you pull out of the boiled before a tasting of this unique dish in the world, cooked slowly for seven hours on the volcanic floor, in a traditional restaurant in the Furnas Village.

After a unique gastronomic experience, the visit to the enchanted valley or "mouth of the volcano" takes you between water and muddy boilers where you can feel the force of a volcano.
