Trail around the caldeira of the most beautiful lakes of Sete Cidades - Blue and Green 

This trails starts in an area that belongs to Ponta Delgada city and as a duration of about 4 hours. This trails is on the top of outside of the volcanic crater of the most know "twin lakes" here you will have a chance to see different perspectives of the lakes and the coast line.

On this route you’ll have the magnificent Lakes (Blue and Green) as background. Here, you’ll discover at first an aqueduct which was very important on the populations life who as the name of “Muro das Nove Janelas” (Nine windows wall), walking through a Japanese cedars forest, this is a walk that it’ll give you a perfect contact with the harmony of nature. You can appreciate different and panoramic views of the Lakes as the west coast of the Island.

Sete Cidades is most know by it's outstanding and unbelieveble lakes and all the greens that envolves the volcanic caldeira.
