If you come to Madeira you have to go down the hill on one of these traditional wicker baskets. A must-do attraction.

Our tour starts on a classic tuk tuk trike, taking you through the Old Town, passing through the farmers’ market and going up to Monte. Along the way you can stop, as much as you like, to see the amazing views over Funchal.

We'll take you to the wicker toboggan departure, and wait for you at the end of the journey.

Pass By: Carreiros do Monte - Arrival location, Caminho do Monte 80, 9050-231 Funchal, Portugal

The toboggan ride will then take you from Monte for an adventurous 2km journey on the traditional wicker baskets. In the end, we will be waiting for you to bring you back to Funchal.
