The Roman Temple of Évora, also referred to as the Temple of Diana (albeit wrongly, after Diana, the ancient Roman goddess of the moon, the hunt, and chastity) is an ancient temple in the Portuguese city of Évora (civil parish of Sé and São Pedro). The temple is part of the historical center of the city, which was included in the classification by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

The Cromlech of the Almendres (Portuguese: Cromeleque dos Almendres / Cromeleque dos Almendres) is a megalithic complex (commonly known as the Almendres Cromlech), located near the village of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, in the civil parish of Nossa Senhora da Tourega and Our Lady of Guadalupe, municipality of Évora, in the Portuguese Alentejo. The largest existing group of structured menhirs in the Iberian Peninsula (and one of the largest in Europe), this archaeological site consists of several megalithic structures: cromlechs and menhir stones, that belong to the so-called "megalithic universe of Evora", with clear parallels to other cromlechs in Portela Mogos (in Montemor-o-Novo).

The Silver Water Aqueduct, also known as the Aqueduct of the Silver Water or Aqueduct of the Silver is a complex work of hydraulic engineering Renaissance with the objective of supplying the city of Évora with water. Inaugurated in the year 1537, it was built in the reign of D. João III and designed and built by the regal architect Francisco de Arruda. The aqueduct transports water from springs located in Graça do Divor, within the grounds of the Convento São Bento de Castris, which "have their first beginning in Herdade das Figueiras de Lobo", to the city of Évora, traveling about 18 km It is an part of the Historic Center of Évora included UNESCO World Heritage List and has been classified as a National Monument since 1910.

The connection of the Grave family to Quinta de S. José de Peramanca goes back to the beginning of the 20th century. It was in 1913 that John Grave's great-grandfather acquired these lands and this property has been the center of the agricultural house of the last four generations of this family, traditionally linked to agriculture and livestock. As for the peculiar name of the farmhouse Peramanca (Pedra-Manca), means unsafe rock oscillating, is explained by the existence in the region of large granite rocks in oscillating balance. Since Roman times and throughout the centuries, the western outskirts of Évora have been considered one of the most important producing regions of quality wine.
