The most beautiful cathedral in the world (arguably :D). Anyway, its' colourful "onion" domes are know all over the world and long time ago became a symbol of Russia.
Pass By: Seven Sisters, Moscow Russia
Famous Stalin's skyscrapers. Seven of the all over the city, we will pass a couple of the most famous ones: MSU, hotel Ukraine, residential building on Kotelnisheskaia embankment. After WWII they became symbols of Soviet power (while USSR was feeling quite bad, people were starving and suffering in Stalin's labor camps. More about that on the tour :D)
Pass By: Park Zaryad'ye, улица Варварка домовладение 6, строение 1, Moskva, Russia, 109012
Modern Moscow park made on the place of the biggest hotel in the world called Rossiya (Russian for "Russia"). Now a very popular place to spend time for Russians and foreigners a few meters away from the Kremlin, where you can eat some caviar and shrimps, drink some kvass and wine and just enjoy yourself.
Pass By: Hotel Ukraine, Kutuzovskiy Ave. 2/1 bld. 1, Moscow 121248 Russia
One of the Stalin's skyscrapers named of the republic of Ukraine, which was back in the times a part of Soviet Union, now of course a separate country. But Russians still love Ukranians as brithers and no political controversies will change that, so we still name hotel "Ukraine" :D
Pass By: Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Volkhonka, 15, Moscow 119019 Russia
The biggest cathedral of orthodox christianity. It has a crazy history and magnificent architecture. It's white walls and huge golden domes will definitely impress you.
Pass By: Red October, Povarskaya st., 29/36, Moscow Russia
A chocolate factory before now it became a trendy place for hipsters and all the people how enjoy good food, electronic music, contemporary art, architecture and urbanism. A nice example of 19th century brick industrial architecture. Located on an island.
Pass By: Peter The Great Monument, Moscow Russia
A HUGE monument to Peter the Great. Pretty controversial piece of art. Some Moscovites hate it, some just don't like it :D. It's a big mistake in the middle of a city and I will tel you why:) Anyway, it's a part of our history now, so I guess we will have to love one way or another. It's almost 100 metres high and weights around 1000 (a thousand) tons.
