An affordable way to see some of the destinations of the Golden Ring Route including Sergiev Posad, Vladimir and Suzdal as well as less touristy residence of Ivan the Terrible in Alexandrov and a small but charming Yuriev-Polsky.

Since I'm not a licensed travel guide, I will rather be your travel companion and driver during sightseeing providing all the necessary assistance whenever you need it. No boring history lectures or tight schedules, explore everything at your own pace!

Itinerary

Day 1: Sergiev Posad - Alexandrov - Yuriev - Suzdal

Stop At: The Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra, Sergiev Posad mkr, Sergiyev Posad 141300 Russia
The spiritual center of Russia - the famous St. Sergius monastery. Admission is 500 roubles per person (not included).

Residence of Ivan the Terrible
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Yuryev-Polsky Museum of History, Architecture and Art, 1-go Maya ul., d. 4, Yuryev-Polsky 601800 Russia
A short stop at the serene Yuriev-Polskiy, an ancient settlement with a cathedral dating back to medieval times and a picturesque monastery. Admission is around 100 roubles.

Stop At: Suzdal Kremlin, Ul. Kremlevskaja, d. 20, Suzdal 601293 Russia
The gem of the Golden Ring. Admission to all the major sights will cost around 1000 roubles.

The ancient capital of Russia, Vladimir, still has some very important monuments. Admission to cathedrals costs around 150 roubles each.
