Note: it might not be reasonable to book a tour if you have only 3 hours as only transportation to the city and back takes about 2 hours. 

Meet your private guide at Moscow airport or train station, and travel into the city by train or taxi before buying a Metro pass (all own expense). Alternatively, if you’ve upgraded, enjoy a transfer into the city, and receive your Metro pass from your guide (included in price).

Begin your approximately 7-hour tour by metro — an attraction in itself. Opened in 1935, this underground network was built to glorify the Soviet Union, with mosaics, chandeliers, and statues.

3pm-4pm: Break for a Russian lunch before your sightseeing of choice: perhaps climbing Sparrow Hills for city views, taking a river cruise (summer only).

Instead of Sparrow Hills, you may want to visit Gorky Park, the most popular place among locals. 

Your tour ends at Sparrow Hills or Gorky Park. Or else you guide can drop you at Moscow train station where you can get an aeroexpress train back to the airport. Or else your guide can order a taxi for you (own expense).
