This is going to be nearly an entire day walk, during which we will explore the "New East" phenomenon. We will go through soviet and pre-revolutionary factories reconstructed into modern art spaces for the New Russian generation, visit cafes which roast coffee by themselves, have lunch or diner in huge gastronomic markets that used to be a grey and ugly soviet industrial zones, discover new Russian art and of course make a lot of lovely pictures for your Instagram

A former glass factory which turned into a modern art space with cafes, bars, concept clothes and gift stores and a wonderful photo background

Stop At: Artplay Design and Architecture Center, Moscow, Central Russia

A former gauge construction factory transformed now into a complex with art galleries and design bureaus

Stop At: Red October, Moscow, Central Russia

A former confectionary, the first factory in Moscow reconstructed into a modern art space located on its own island with amazing views opening from its embankments
