Timing is flexible and you can start the tour any time you prefer.  

This tour can be customized to make it a unique experience for you. Your private local guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at about 10am and discuss the tour itinerary with you at the beginning of the tour.  

10.00am Start your magical journey in the lobby of your hotel. Set off on a Christmas journey with your friendly local guide and listen to the exciting stories about Russian history and traditions. Your first destination will be the VDNKh Soviet park and pavilions (or VVC). Explore unique pavilions representing former Soviet republics and check out the largest skating rink in Europe that can accommodate up to 4500 people.

11.30am Next, soak up festive vibes at the prominent Red Square’s Christmas and New Year Market. Stroll through the colorful stalls, enchanting houses and chalets, and keep an eye out for gifts you might want to pick up. You may want to take a ride on the carousels, see the street magicians’ performances and indulge your sweet tooth with traditional Russian dishes like blini with caviar or pirogies.

12.00pm Drop in at the adjacent GUM, world-known luxury department store lined with twinkling Christmas decorations. Relish its gorgeous festive interiors and feel like a part of Soviet epoch in its authentic Stolovaya 57 cafe. Your appetite sated, continue to the Manezhnaya square. Lose yourself in the magic coniferous forest and admire the scenes from popular Russian fairy tales.

1.00pm Next, head to Kuznetskiy Most, home to the voguish Christmas trees gallery. Get impressed by “Magic 3D Sky” on Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street.

If you are lucky, see Christmas theatrical street performances - ancient and modern, Russian and foreign - ambling down Kamergerskiy Lane.

Stop At: Tverskaya Street (Ulitsa), Tverskaya ulitsa, Moscow Russia

2.00pm Proceed to Tverskaya Square with its dazzling symbol of the coming year - the number 2018. Learn about Christmas traditions of various European countries watching the fantastic performances of foreign theaters. Marvel at spectacular ice ballets staged by the world-famous master of figure skating Peter Chernyshev with participation of prominent Russian athletes at Novopushkinskiy Skver. Get a chance to snap amazing photos wandering along the astonishing decorated light tunnel at Tverskoy Boulevard (all performances happen on particular dates and hours, and are not guaranteed on tour).
