Baikal Lake is so called "Pearl of siberia". And olkhon Island is definitely the heart of baikal. You will discover both spiritual and natural origin of the lake and feel the scale of biggest fresh water basin on earth.

Itinerary

Day 1: City promenade.

Stop At: Irkutsk Hydropower Dam, Irkutsk Russia
Man can see the dam on the Angara River (tho only river flows out of baikal Lake) with an adjacent hydroelectric power station. It is located adjacent to Irkutsk, Irkutsk Oblast in Russia and is the first dam on the Angara cascades.

Stop At: Museum-Icebreaker Angara, Marshala Zhukova St., 36a, Irkutsk 664050 Russia
The Ice Breaker Angara Museum - is one of the Irkutsk's most unusual monuments/museums. It is the only surviving ship of the original icebreakers in Russia.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Irkutsk Regional Historical and Memorial Museum of Decembrists, Dzerzhinskogo St., 64, Irkutsk 664007 Russia
Irkutsk is recognized as the Decembrists' center of Russia. Museums were opened (in 1970 and 1985, respectively) in houses where the families of Sergei Trubetskoy and Sergey Volkonsky had lived. You'll find here genuine things that belonged to the Decembrists and replicas of lost things such as pieces of furniture, tableware, stoves, musical instruments, ancient chandeliers, embroidery, books, sheet music, and pictures and photographs.

• Lunch: Classical Russian borsh or solyanka with additional 2nd meal and vegetable salat. Hot tee or coffee with sweets.

Accommodation included: Authentic small hotel "Art house" located at very city center. Single and 2 person apartment available.

Day 2: Driving to baikal Lake.

Stop At: Pribaikalskiy National Park, Baikalskaya st., 291B Main Office FGBU Zapovednoye Pribaikalye, Irkutsk 664050 Russia
Man can see there a unique nature and gorgeous landscape of baikal Lake - biggest fresh water lake on earth.
Duration: 2 days

Accommodation included: Cabin apartment. Hot shower isn't provided. Options: Russian banya (wet sauna)

Day 3: Touching the spirit of baikal Lake.

Stop At: Cape Burkhan/Shamanka Rock, Western bank of Olkhon island, Olkhon Island 666137 Russia
The most famous Well known place on baikal Lake. It is kind of shamanic sanctuary.
Duration: 3 hours

• Dinner
Accommodation included: Cabin apartments in a local village Harancy. Options:hot shower, banya (wet sauna)

Day 4: Biking to eastern shore of olkhon Island.

Stop At: Lake Baikal, E Russia
Biking front khujir village across the olkhon island(15 km cross country) to eastern shore through Tashkiney fold.
Duration: 7 hours
