Itinerary

Day 1: Moscow

Pass By: Moscow, Moscow, Central Russia
On arrival in Russia’s capital you will be met by our driver and transferred to your hotel in the city centre. Relax or begin your adventure with independent exploration. (no meals)

Day 2: Moscow

Stop At: Gorki Leninskiye, Gorki Leninskiye, Leninsky District, Moscow Oblast, Central Russia
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will meet you at reception for out –of-city excursion to Gorki Leninskie (lunch is included). In Lenin’s later years, he and his family spent time at the 1830s Murozov manor house, set on lovely wooded grounds, 32km southeast of the capital. Designed by Fyodor Shekhtel, it now houses a Lenin museum, where you can see a re-creation of Lenin’s Kremlin office, as well as his vintage Rolls-Royce – one of only 15 such automobiles in the world.

Stop At: Moscow-City, Presnenskaya Embankment Presnensky District, Moscow Russia
In the afternoon enjoy your three-hour city sightseeing tour with photo stops (no entrances), viewing the famous landmarks and places to which you may return at your leisure. The tour sights include Red Square, the Kremlin, Sparrow Hills, Bolshoi Theatre, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Victory Park, Novodevichy Convent, and the famous Moscow streets.

Day 3: Moscow

Stop At: Moscow Kremlin, Moscow 103132 Russia
Today you tour the mighty Moscow Kremlin grounds, a true political landmark. Included is a visit to the Armoury where you can find the largest collection of Fabergé eggs in the world and 9 halls of unique treasures and thousands of exhibits.

Stop At: Arbat, Arbat, Moscow, Central Russia
In the afternoon visit the colourful Arbat district where you can enjoy performers, market stalls and various eateries.

Stop At: Moscow, Moscow, Central Russia
Proceed to Moscow’s famous Metro System, where stations were built to display the beauty of Russia and to evoke pride in native Muscovites. (B)

Day 4: Moscow to St Petersburg

Stop At: State Tretyakov Gallery, Lavrushinskiy ln 10, Moscow 119017 Russia
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and be ready with your luggage. Your guide will take you to the world-famous Tretyakov Art Gallery - the magnificent collection of paintings of Russian and foreign artists.

Stop At: St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg, Northwestern District
In the afternoon we will transfer you to the railway station, where you will appreciate the convenience of the Sapsan high-speed train to St Petersburg. In less than 5 hours and you will find yourself in the heart of the Northern Venice, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our guide.

Day 5: St Petersburg

Stop At: Peter and Paul Fortress, Petropavlovskaya Fortress, 3, St. Petersburg 197022 Russia
Get your bearings on a morning city tour and explore the best of Russia’s former capital. Explore onward to the Peter and Paul Fortress and uncover its intriguing history.

Day 6: St Petersburg

Stop At: The State Hermitage Museum, Palace Emb., 30-38, St. Petersburg 191055 Russia
Today is the day of great experiences: you will visit the Treasury of the world culture - the Hermitage. Stand back and surround yourself with one of the world’s largest art collections and view masterpieces from all time greats including Da Vinci, Monet and Michelangelo.

Day 7: St Petersburg

Stop At: Pushkin, Pushkin, Pushkinsky District, St. Petersburg, Northwestern District
Let’s leave St Petersburg for a while and take an out of town excursion to the picturesque village of Pushkin* to admire the golden domes and the Amber Room of Catherine’s Palace. *The order of excursions may change according to seasons: from May to September, the excursion may be changed to the Pavlov Palace or Peterhof Palace.
