Discovered by Spanish sailors during the 15th Century, this sprawling, 320 acre private island has enjoyed a long and interesting history. During the Carib Wars of 1769 1795, Gun Hill at almost 3,901 ft. above sea level the islands highest point - served as a lookout for soldiers during the Carib Wars of 1772-1797. These days, however, the hill serves as the perfect vantage point for watching the sun set over the glittering waters of the Caribbean Sea.
