The Holy City of Touba is very dear to the people of Senegal . It is the city of Mouridism ,and the burial place of its founder , Cheikh Ahmadou Bàmba Mbàke .

After Touba , clients will journey on to the gorgeous Lompoul Desert 145k south of Saint Louis for incredible activities such as camel trekking , sand dune buggies , and much more. During spring time the “ Festival du Sahel” takes places at the Limpopo desert . It’s the opportunity to showcase the region’s culture and music . Another great reason to go !!

We will be visiting the famous holy city of touba and the grand mosque and the library of cheikh Ahmadou Bamba the founder of mouridism.
