Thursday group tour to Sargan Eight train and Mokra Gora

This 12-hour day trip will be enjoyed by you and a small-group of no more than 8. Take this tour every Thursday during April-October period. Your guide will share the history of the area as you travel to Mokra Gora for an authentic train ride along the ˆargan Eight. You'll visit famous House on Drina river. After the train ride, you will visit the ethnic complex of Kustendorf before heading back to Belgrade.

Stop At: Drina River House, River Drina, Bajina Basta Serbia

This will be our first attraction en route. When we reach Bajina Bašta town, you'll have a chance to admire Drina River House, as well as to power-up after a long drive in the local tavern.

Stop At: Sargan Eight Railway, Mokra Gora Serbia

After arriving in Mokra Gora, you will have free time for lunch at the train station restaurant before boarding the train. The ˆargan Eight's nostalgic train will take you back in time with its wooden seats, smell of a wood burning stove and the rattling sound of an old train ride. This 2.5-hour train ride will take you 9.5 miles (15 km) through the scenic countryside of Mokra gora. During the ride you will stop along the way to enjoy the stunning views and even stop at several stations to stretch your legs.

Stop At: Kustendorf, Mokra Gora Serbia

You will continue your journey to the village Kustendorf which was built by film director Emir Kusturica. This delightful little town is built on a hill and displays streets named after famous people.
