Singapore Heartland Tour is unique because you go where the locals live and you eat where locals eat. You also got the chance to visit a household and experience the conditions they live in. Jurong in the west of Singapore is slowly developing into a flourishing town and still leave some nostalgic places for enjoyment and reflection.

Itinerary

Day 1: To visit a Public Housing Estate and observe how the locals live, work and play.

Stop At: Nanyang Community Club, 60 Jurong West Street 91, Singapore 649040
Community Clubs (CCs) are common spaces for people of all races to come together, build friendships and promote social bonding. CCs also connect residents and the Government by providing relevant information and gathering feedback on national concerns and policies.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Jurong, Jurong
We will invite tourists to visit one of the resident household, a 5 rooms flat.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Jurong, Jurong
We will bring Tourists to a Sport and Recreation Complex in Jurong West where families can enjoy recreational activities.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Boon Lay Place Food Centre, 221A Boon Lay Pl, Singapore 641221
We will bring Tourists to where the locals will go buy their grocery, visit convenience shops and get their fresh produce.
Duration: 2 hours

Meals included:
• Dinner: We will bring Tourists to a Hawker Food Centre to sample our multi ethnic local foods.
No accommodation included on this day.

Day 2: To visit attractions which in the past were created to attract the locals to move to the Industry estate in the west.

Stop At: Chinese and Japanese Gardens, 1 Chinese Garden Road Chinese Garden, Singapore 619795 Singapore
Chinese themed garden is modelled along the magnificent northern Chinese imperial style of architecture and landscape.

The Japanese themed Garden is a large strolling garden showcasing a landscape style originating from the Muromachi and Momoyama periods of Japanese history.

Stop At: Jurong Hill Lookout Tower, 60 Jurong Hill, Singapore 628926
The Jurong Hill Lookout Tower provide a panoramic view of the entire industrial estate from the viewing platform.

The 60 ft tower had played host to many visiting foreign dignitaries and royalties.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Tiger Brewery Tour, 459 Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, Singapore 639934 Singapore
Guided tour only from Tuesday to Sunday. Charges for adult SGD$18(Weekday), SGD$20(Weekend) and child SGD$12. Children under 5 enter free of charge. Need to bring Photo ID or Passport for verification.
Duration: 2 hours
