Tour of Goriska Brda from Ljubljana

Goriska Brda, the region known also as Slovenian Tuscany is fameous for its cultivated landscapes, typical architecture of villages and castles to numerous ethnological attractions, customs, habits and a distinctive local dialect. The villages are mostly surrounded by the greenery of vineyards and orchards with roads, track and paths winding among them. Here on this green piece of the earth, the world-famous wines are produced.

Stop At: Shmartno 1 Smartno 1, Kojsko 5211 Slovenia

The tour starts from a hotel in Ljubljana. The road to Goriska Brda takes about 90 min. Our first stop is in the medieval village of Smartno. After the visit of the lovely village and some free time we will proceed to the two of the local wineries. We will stop in each of them and enjoy the tasting of the best and high-quality local wines. After a day full of new impressions and experiences we will return back to Ljubljana.
