Diagonal Route Valken Labyrinth and Kasteelspoort

This is an interesting and fun way to explore a part of Table Mountain that is not as busy as others but no less beautiful. Weather permitting, the views are stunning, the hike fun and the labyrinth a fascinating place to visit.

We hike up the interesting Diagonal Route, traversing three buttresses & ravines before arriving at the top of Barrier Ravine. We then explore the fascinating Valken Labyrinth before descending into the Valley of the Red Gods. From there we take the short walk to the top of Kasteelspoort, which is our way down to our starting & end point.
