Steeped in a wealth of knowledge about the Cape's rich botanical heritage, the Fynbos Tasting is a contemporary way to engage with the Cape's protected indigenous flora. The Cape Floral Kingdom is the smallest of six globally recognised floristic regions and the terroir produces uniquely South African culinary flavours available as aromatic tea infusions, delicate culinary salts, tinctures, digestives and more.

Fynbos Tastings and Apothecary Workshops are presented in the tranquil Visitors Center in the historic Company's Garden. The Dutch East India Company established a formal garden on this site in 1652 to supply their naval fleet with fresh supplies. The Medicinal Garden showcases the Cape's indigenous plants used for traditional remedies.
