Day 4: Cheese and Wine Tasting

Drive to Franschhoek (French corner) an old town with a strong French history and influence that dates back to 1688. Many farms and businesses still hold onto their French names and the town’s atmosphere is uniquely French-like. The town’s close proximity to Cape Town combined with its ideal weather, architectural beauty, huge variety of culinary offerings and award winning wines make it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Cape Winelands. It has been described by many as the “food and wine capital” of South Africa. Take a walk in the town and be part of its rich history while enjoying the many art galleries, antique shops and charming restaurants that make up this magnificent town. Stop at the Huguenot Memorial before going on a cellar tour at a local wine estate for a wine tasting.

Day 5: Aquila Game Reserve

Arrive at the reserve at 12:00 and receive warm welcome with drinks upon arrival, Buffet Lunch, Check in to Accommodation & Eco Synergy Tour, then the 2 to 3 hour safari game drive. The safari is led by an experienced guide who will share exciting inside stories: facts about your surroundings, easily rousing your inner wild side. Followed by Buffet Dinner and then a rest at Aquila Lodge.

Day 6: Over Night Wake up with Big 5

On this day woke up early, the program includes a morning game drive led by an experienced guide who will share exciting inside stories: facts about your surroundings and easily rousing your inner wild side. When you done with the game drive you will have a scrumptious buffet breakfast. After breakfast you will have some time at leisure which you may choose to add on a spa treatment. Join the newly opened African spa using natural products that harness the medicinal powers of indigenous plants, flowers and herbs and are free from petrochemicals, synthetic ingredients, colourants and preservatives. Featuring of the Spa are 2 large heated indoor pools, steam room, sauna, nail bar, 10 treatment rooms, a couples or group treatment room and an outdoor pool. After lunch you will observe around, relax and enjoy the beauty of Aquila. Later on join the evening game drive waiting for the dinner time before you call it a day.
