This private 9-hour seasonal guided tour for couples, families or small groups traveling together takes you to the town of Hermanus in Walker Bay. Hermanus is known as the "Whale Capital" of South Africa (August to October). The Southern Right Whales migrate to the coastal waters of South Africa from the Antarctic to calve and nurse their young. These mammals, only a few feet from the shore, provide an unsurpassed whale watching opportunity.

For clients who would like an additional boat whale watching excursion, it is possible but it needs to be indicated when booking is done and it will be for own account.

This tour includes a panoramic drive along two stunning mountain passes to Hermanus, as well as along the coast of False Bay, one of the most beautiful drives in South Africa. On the way back an African penguin colony is visited followed by a spectacular mountain drive on the way to Cape Town.

See African Penguins in it's natural habitat.

Stop At: Whale Watchers Hermanus, Hermanus, Overstrand South Africa

After doing the spectacular Sir Lowrey's Pass, we carry on between apple orchards and take on Houwhoek Pass. On descending we see the vastness of Canola- and wheatfields in the distance.
