Great White Shark Tours is a highly skilled and enthusiastic team that offers safe great white- and copper shark cage diving and surface viewing trips in Gansbaai, South Africa.

Our trips are weather and tide- dependent and may vary between 06h00 and 12h00. The boat launches from Kleinbaai Harbour, a 2-minute walk from the crew house.

Here you will board the specially designed catamaran, Apex Predator, for a safe but exhilarating 5-mile boat ride to the famous, Shark Alley, next to Dyer Island, or to a location where the last the shark activity has been sighted.

*The trip starts anything between 6.00 and 12.00 in the morning from Kleinbaai

harbor, a short drive from the village of Gansbaai. Please note, however, launch times may vary due to the tides and expedited sea conditions both of which the skipper can only determine the day prior to the trip.
*You will be personally be notified, between 17:00-18:00 on the day before your dive about the meeting time at our crew house in Kleinbaai.

This notification will be sent to the contact number or email address provided when the booking is made. Arrival time is 1 hour before the launch time.
* After a continental breakfast (with no greasy foods to reduce seasickness),

indemnities are signed, payments made and a safety briefing given.
*After a short 2- minute walk down to the harbor, you will board our luxurious,

very safe, custom build catamaran, Apex Predator for the 5-mile voyage to Dyer

Island or the anchor spot where that latest great white shark activity has been reported.
*The trip at sea is about 4 to 5 hours, depending on the weather and the shark activity.
* After dropping anchor, the crew will begin attracting the great white sharks with a

specially formulated ‘Chum’ mixture, made from completely legal ingredients. It has taken owner/operator Brian MacFarlane years to perfect this mixture and is a

highly-guarded trade secret.
*(MANDATE AGAINST THE USE OF SHARK PRODUCTS - Great White Shark Tours (Pty) Ltd do not feed the sharks, nor use any part of a shark product in their ‘secret chum mixture’ and have signed a mandate to this effect.) * Once the Great Whites arrive, you will have the excellent photographic opportunities from the boat as these spectacular apex predators are surface feeders and will swim right into the chum line.
*The crew will also now start dressing you for the cage in diving suits and masks for that moment you have been anticipating for a lifetime- a face to face encounter with a great white shark!
