Itinerary

The Spice Experience at GOLD is an immersive spice dinner where you will embark on a journey to learn where flavour was born. This unique dining experience will include djembe drumming, an arrival cocktail and wine, along with multiple sharing-style dishes. From a green masala tomato soup, to fiery Harissa chicken wings, Zanzibar tamarind fish curry and Berebere rice – each dish on the menu will give you a unique glimpse into how the various spices are used in African cuisine.

Venture down the spice route with Nouvelle as she explains how spices were used as currency and how they helped to develop the world, all the way from the explorers of Portugal, to the traders of India and farmers of Zanzibar.
