Step off the top, at 1000 meters above sea level, and Abseil into pure vertical space. This is the world’s original highest commercial Abseil. You are surrounded by awesome views with Robben Island, Lions Head, The Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay as the back drop and the deep blue Atlantic at your feet.
Hikers enjoy Table Mountain throughout the year with every season offering its own special rewards. The Platteklip Gorge hike, although tough and not for the faint hearted offers amazing views and beautiful scenery. Hikers are able to enjoy the pleasure of being surrounded by unspoiled nature.
Platteklip Gorge Trail is about a 3km and most direct to the top of the Mountain. This Route is steep with stairs liked steps but not technical. On average the route takes about 2-3 hours to complete depending on fitness levels and the pace hiked at.
