Take me to Soweto

This is a cycling tour about the history of Soweto, Orlando West, Soweto. This where some of the political icons stayed during Apartheid whilst fighting against the system. Nelson Mandela, Lillian Ngoyi, Bishop Tutu, Mama Winnie to name a few.
We will be stopping to interact with the locals & get the opportunity to take some great pictures. You will get an idea about the people's lifestyle, local music & current youth culture.
We will start in Killerney an upcoming tourist destination in Soweto. then continue to Mzimhlophe (white houses), we pay a visit to the only former women's hostel in Soweto & it's history. We now cruise down to Mama Lillian Mgoyi's home "the mother of the black resistance" an anti-apartheid activist.
After this we continue on to Phefeni another side of Orlando West,
From here we cross to Hector Pietersen Museum where i will tell you about the Soweto uprising.
Right after we will continue on Vilakazi street where we will see houses of a few Legends then Lunch
