Descend via abseiling (Rappel) a 50 meter cliff-face into a riverbed. Your double guide-controlled decent allows you the time to breath in the natural surroundings, take in great views, river carved ridges and wide open skies – feel inspired by the geological landscape and natural formation of this ridge of fingers as you make your way down into a river valley dating back to the beginnings of time. More than just an Abseil. This unique double discipline trip offers an introduction into ViaFerrata as you make your way to the abseil edge. This neat little route is exposed, It is fun and testing and ultimately it will have your heart thumping! Bringing with it the rewards of accomplishing a challenge!

After you have signed in at our base camp your accredited guides will get you harnessed and helmeted up and ready for the activity. The guides will conduct a thorough safety briefing and allow everybody to try the Via Ferrata method on a sample wall. All abseiling techniques will also be demonstrated and explained to you. All safe and easy.

When everybody is comfortable your guides will take you out to the start of the route and get you connected. Your guides will stay with you at all times assisting you as you complete the Via Ferrata.

Once you get to the cliff edge you guides will get you seated and comfortable and the one at a time you will be connected to the abseil lines / system and then disconnected from the Via Ferrata.

You will abseil down the cliff face by yourself however the guides will control a second backup line that is connect to you so that your speed is regulated and controlled.

Once you have reached the bottom you will be disconnected from the lines by another guide and shown the exit path for a short walk out of the canyon back to the base camp where it all started.
