Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival into Cape Town!

Stop At: Cape Town International Convention Centre, 1 Lower Long Street Convention Square, Cape Town Central 8001 South Africa
Our friendly guide or host welcomes you at the Cape Town International Airport

And transfer you by airconditioned car to your accommodation

with your amazing host family

You will be warmly welcomed with a typical South African meal

Vegetarian Options are available as well as Gluten Free meals

Day 2: Orientation of your surroundings & meet the kids

Driver will show you the surrounding areas as well as a visit to your project:

Pre-School / Creche

Feel free to bring gifts for the kids eg pens, pencils, books, toys

Our purpose is to link the volunteer to the previously disadvantage, by uniting young people with a common goal ie help to better the life of South Africans & empowering the volunteer to make a difference in society.

Visit one of the world’s most beautiful cities and share your passion for children and love of teaching on this Early Childhood Development Project. As a volunteer, you will work in Cape Town’s underprivileged townships, educating and caring for vulnerable children in pre-schools. By supporting this initiative, you are making a positive, long-term impact on children who otherwise would not get the chance to access a quality and inclusive education.

After meeting the kids on the first day, head back home for a scrumptious lunch and chill out reading a book or catching up on your emails

Day 3: Full day with the kids!

Give children the opportunity to access one-to-one educational opportunities that would otherwise not exist in severely over-crowded and under-funded facilities

Work alongside local teachers a empowering them to be better able to educate the children in their care

Day 4: Enjoy the kids!

Pre-School Teaching

Kids are between 6 months and 7 years. These schools offer children from disadvantaged backgrounds an invaluable head start to their education and future, with a specific emphasis on helping them to prepare for their next step to primary school.

Due to staff lacking in essential resources, these schools struggle to meet the needs of the children. Volunteers help the classes come alive, assisting teachers with lesson planning and making real progress for the next step to enter school.

Day 5: Some Fun today!

Continue supporting the kids at the Creche & make memorable moments with them

Day 6: Last day with the kids ...

Spend 5 hours with the kids then say goodbye to the kids after lunch

At 17h00, we take you to enjoy a traditional African meal at the Gold Restaurant, enjoy drumming and a 14 course meal

Transfer back to host accommodation.

Day 7: Time to unwind and do an overnight safari!

Stop At: Worcester Museum, Robertson Road, Worcester 6850 South Africa
The Aquila overnight safari doesn’t spare on spoiling our guests. Welcome cocktails are served on arrival, either outside, around the pool, or in front of a log fire in the cigar bar. The overnight safari boasts an early morning safari as well as a late afternoon safari with an Aquila Game Reserve specialist and 3 meals daily.

Day 8: Return to Cape Town

Affectionately known as the flat top & table top mountain

Drive pass the Slave Museum

See the Companies Gardens

A stop at Bo-Kaap / Malay quarter - learn about many stories of the slaves and the Dutch East India Company - See the colorful houses - there are many stories about why the colors!
