Guided Ridge Climb - Gwanaksan Seoul

This route tackles the hardest ridge on Gwanak mountain; it is almost entirely unknown to those unfamiliar with mountaineering in Korea.

Itinerary

We meet at the subway station. From there, we walk for about 15-20 minutes to reach the trail head. Our activity is a hike and scramble* over 2 ridges, topping 14 minor peaks on Gwanak mountain. We'll finish close to Seoul National University station, on the other side of the mountain.

*Scrambling is "a walk up steep terrain involving the use of one's hands"

The guide will carry a rope to protect the scrambling sections where necessary.
