This is a house of two great persons in Korea; who they are? Their portraits are on the Korean bill of 5,000won & 50,000won. Here you will see over 600 year old house and will learn the story of this two great persons.

Stop At: Seongyojang, Unjeong-dong, Gangneung-si, South Korea

this is an old hanok complexity that was first built in early 19C; here we will learn how a Korean aristocrat house is organized as well as the history & other behind story of this old hanok; this hanok complex was designated as an important folk & clutural property in 1967. After the tour, we will have a lunch in traditional province style.

This is a path through a costal terrace that was first formed about 23mill years ago. It offers beautiful scenaries of jade colored sea & various shapes of rocks; fresh air that you can not feel in Seoul will be a bonus. You will walk through the path from one end to the other, which will take about 40 minutes.

Shinamy, Myeongjoo-dong! Shinamy means "Slow" & Myeongjoo-dong is a hot district in Kangneung these days. As "slow" implys, this is an area where old & new are beautifully harmonized together and create a new style! Small cafes & bistros in an old residential area... Here you will have your own free time... you can just relax with a cup of coffee or look for good spots for pics.
