This shore tour takes you to the east coast of Mallorca, enjoying a short stop at the town of Porto Cristo before making your way to the fascinating Caves of Drach, one of Mallorca's most popular tourist destinations. Inside the Caves, you will find the Lake of Martel, an vast underground lake where you will enjoy a short boat trip. On your way back, you'll visit a Pearl Factory.

Stop At: Cuevas del Drach, Ctra. Cuevas s/n, 07680 Porto Cristo, Majorca Spain

You will be met at the port by a Cruising Excursions representative who will then guide you to your air conditioned transportation ready to start your journey to the Caves of Drach.

Before reaching the caves, you will have a short stop in Porto Cristo, a beautiful Mallorcan town where you can relax and take in the beautiful scenery and take photographs before the tour continues.

Then, you'll travel to the Caves of Drach, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Mallorca. There are four separate tunnels in the cave: The Cave of Luis Salvador, The Cave of the French, The Black Cave and The White Cave. They are all connected and stretch to nearly 2.4 kilometres in depth.

Inside the Caves, you will find the Lake of Martel, an underground lake which, at 1150 metres long, is considered one of the biggest underground lakes in the world.

You may be fortunate enough to witness one of the daily concerts of classical music that plays near the lake. On a short boat trip across the lake, you'll get the opportunity to admire the engineered lighting by Carlos Buigas.

From the caves, the tour will move on for a short stop at the Pearl Factory, where you can window shop or even purchase some of the famous pearls of Mallorca. (There are also public conveniences here and a bar, should you wish to purchase water or a snack).

After this fascinating tour, you will be taken back to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ship's departure.

When do I return to port after my tour/excursion?
We schedule your return to port to ensure you arrive in plenty of time to re-join your ship - normally 1 hour before the scheduled sailing time. Where you have free time after the end of your tour, then it is your responsibility to ensure you re-join the ship on time.

All tour times are based on Shore time (ie local time, - not ship time)
